Cheers for the suggestions. At the moment I'm use some old Nikon (SLR) lenses with an adapter.

I've had a look at the Tamron and Sigma's (17-50mm and 17-70mm): it sounds like as they're designed for a 1.6x camera that there'll be no change of focal length i.e. they'll be 17mm not 27mm. Or did I read the blurb wrong?
