Default collared dove and chick on nest

i was out with my dog, walking back home along the canal, when i saw a family of wrens flitting along the branches of the towpath. there were 6 baby wrens and the two parents. i followed them along and they came only a hedge thickness away from me. as i follwed them it was then that i spotted this collared dove sat on the nest with a young chick. this too was only a few feet below me on the towpath. i took a couple of arms lengh pics, but did'nt want to disturb the birds too much. two passing ladies gave sighs of oooh!!! as i showed them. i must have walked past these birds quite a few times and not seen them. lucky for me, the wrens pointed the way!!!
