I find these Pipits very difficult to identify, nice captures Beryl.

I do too. That is the same bird in both pics it stopped to have a brush up. There were two but the other on went the opposite way. But I have checked on these I'm sure they are meadow Pipits. There is a farm where they seam to come from and hop back and forth along the estuary.

Equipment: Nothing but my notebook which is one of the most important parts of birding. To go out without it (which I only ever did once) is like going out without your pants on. I've never understood why I responded to the 'Cameras and Equipment' question in this way because in reality I own a Leica Telescope with eyepieces, Zeiss Binoculars, and a Manfrotto Tripod all of which cost a positive fortune.

Yes, Meadow Pipits. Take a look at some other 'pipit' species, I just do not know how these guys separate some of them, the subtle differences are well......just too subtle for my liking.

I have compared them with Pipit sites of the photos drawings and paintings are not reliable but there are differences
