Default Female Blackbird

I could hear the chicks in a nest near by but of course couldn't see them and a I must have been close , clever mum here flew away from the nest and where she was in full view so as to stop me getting any closer. Not that I would have if I did know. So she is now in the lime light

Equipment: Nothing but my notebook which is one of the most important parts of birding. To go out without it (which I only ever did once) is like going out without your pants on. I've never understood why I responded to the 'Cameras and Equipment' question in this way because in reality I own a Leica Telescope with eyepieces, Zeiss Binoculars, and a Manfrotto Tripod all of which cost a positive fortune.

Yes I think you are right in saying 'capturing a bird turning is nice' and its reminded me of the Spotted Flycatcher I posted on this website recently which I also captured turning. I'm off to upload it for you to take a look at, hope you like it......you should see it soon.

I think my Pied flycatcher is turning too . the one printed in the paper is.
It some how give the photo a more natural look rather than a portrait look don't you think ?
