I've been watching them today Beryl in the Trough of Bowland, a treat to behold. I also have some excellent news for a couple who live in a lodge up there, they have a pair nesting in some ivy on their lodge, I'm going to send them a copy of this, I reckon they well be very pleased......don't you.

Lovely shot Pete and one I have yet to see. Can you tell me whether the Spotted Flycatcher is a warbler or not?

Not a 'warbler' Babs. Hope you find one some day Babs, they are a lovely bird to see and watch and as the name implies a master at catching insects on the wing.

To go out without it (which I only ever did once) is like going out without your pants on. I've never understood why I responded to the 'Cameras and Equipment' question in this way because in reality I own a Leica Telescope with eyepieces, Zeiss Binoculars, and a Manfrotto Tripod all of which cost a positive fortune.
