Default Our poor feathered friend

Well here is the female Blackbird with the problem feathers, it's such a shame, it does affect her flying slightly and with her beak problem and feather problem she doesn't seem to have a lot going for her, but she is bright eyed and seem to have a mate

Oh dear, not a happy Hector, although as you say, she seems OK with it.

Equipment: Nothing but my notebook which is one of the most important parts of birding. To go out without it (which I only ever did once) is like going out without your pants on. I've never understood why I responded to the 'Cameras and Equipment' question in this way because in reality I own a Leica Telescope with eyepieces, Zeiss Binoculars, and a Manfrotto Tripod all of which cost a positive fortune.

Strange Babs. Never seen anything quite like this before, doesn't look good but who knows......I certainly don't know the (feather) problem here and the bill is another matter.

Pete.

Poor thing, how unusual. I suppose that if she has a mate then that should help her.
