    Nikon D300,nikon 70-200 +1.7 converter. Sigma 150-500 Sigma 300 with X2 converter Nikon P5000 with fieldscope and Binos

    Default Common terns

    Taken Fri afternoon at Lea farm gravel pit. The last one was an ccident. He was on the ground and took off when I took the shot.

    Olympus Evolt E520, and borrowed lenses and flash. Fuji Finepix S7000 for Macro A chair :)

    I love the second shot with the one on the ground, mouth fully open. I can almost hear it say "In me beak son, in me beak"

    They weren't feeding the young but trying to encourage them to fly and then catch their own food
