Default Lapwing at Moor Green Lakes

First heard them across the lake which was obscured by bushes, then they came into view with their distinctive calls. I really love these Birds.

Equipment: The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

Excellent action shots rolf, I agree with you, they are a lovely bird last time I went to martin mere there were loads of them

very good shots rolf, i work in the aircraft industry and there are alot of lapwings on the airfield . they are extremely acrobatic fliers and very handsome birds.
