Great Black-backed Gull

Captured this in land over the park . so much bigger than a herring gull. the size is of them quite fascinating

This is yesterdays 'mystery' bird Beryl isn't it?

The one which appears to have been 'dumped'.

The huge bird bigger than a 'gull'.

I'm not confused any more.

It is bigger than the all gulls. It's the worlds largest gull. That is Why I was confused. I don't normally see them away from the Estuary.
