Default Buzzard with his catch

He swooped down into the field stopped for a minute and then took off with ............something
It was a few shots later when up in the sky I noticed he had a catch

Thanks. Yes. I'm wondering if he has captured a rodent or a swallow. There were swallows every where landing in the field

What a wonderful light colouring he had, Beryl! There is a ot of grass in his claws, so maybe he had caught a rodent of some sort?

Yes. I think he's a Pale Phase Buzzard
Could be a rodent. I really don't know he was quite a distance.But also the swallows were landing in the grass too loads of them. It was great watching him swoop down silently and they ride the wind beautifully almost look to be hovering
