Default Just started breeding my own mealworms

Have set up a small reptile tank with bran in the bottom, put in some thin slices of carrot and will get another small tank for the stock, just reading up on the tips and tricks for keeping them will put up some photos when I set it up properly.

We have been thinking of doing the same rolf. When we bought some from the shop I could never even hold the container they were in. But now I can even open the plastic container and put them into the dish. They don't frightnen me like they used to do. I even share my hide with a couple of containers of them the. I could never hold one though. I would be very interested how you get on with breeding them rolf would save us hec of a lot of money

I feel the same way. If a tank is going free then it has to be fish that reside in it

..ahh, but that would then mean food for my cat. I suppose it would keep her away from the birds:-)

Lol. My cat used to sit in front of the tank. Looked like she was watching tennis and avery copule if minutes a little mew would sound then she would sit there with paws crossd over and round the corner trying to get at them she'd get so cross and it was funny. I wonder what she would make of meal worms and beatles.

I love it when cats are confused. I have to admit to purposefully playing bird calls when the cat is sitting by my computer... I love her confusion - I am such a mean thing Luckily, despite being a stray who had to live on birds she would rather have human-provided food. She is interested in birds, but more as a watcher - she sits on the roof of my porch (she has to access it from the window of the computer room so can't actually get the birds) and watches them. Every now and then I hear a little 'I see a bird' noise drifting in through the window... it makes me laugh because there is no way that she could actually get one from there. But she would much rather watch from there that from the garden itself.

Great minds think alike. I have one of those corner units and Chocky used to sit up there and I would do exsctly the same with all sorta of sounds. When in the family house which wa huge and we had a masive garden and I had lots of birds. I nailed an Icecream box to the top of fence post at the bottom of the garden and put all the shucks in it and my white cat Dillicus used to sit under it and wait for the birds and it was like watching a Slam Dunk.
She just used to jump straight up in the air and put her paw over the box
She never did get one it was too high they saw her coming
We are going to get uinto trouble for hijcking this thread.
