Default Snaps of Birds and other stuff on Holiday in France

Starting a thread for my holiday captures in France, staying with my Sister near Chartres in the Eure et Loire region for a week.

Nipped out for a quick walk at 8am this morning, didn't get much, as I had my posse following me.

LOL, no they are my sister's, what you see above is the small Posse, it can rise to three cats and two Yorkies.

Here's a long distance snap of a Heron flying over.

Yes, sorry Chocky, I was just saying that there are normally more than the two.

I tried the videos, but it may be the connection here, although it is broadband, it is not very fast.

Here is a female Linnet.

Could be . I'll ask Babs to try them out . She has had problems with her PC that is why she hasn't been around.
They work perfectly for me and on my own site two. I would think you do need a faily fast conection for movies.
Do the other's on the site work or is it just mune? The one you put up fore me woks perfectly too.

Nice captures, very colourfyul. I didn't know geese had blue eyes.
Great butterflies, they look ready for battle or some thing lol
I captured an orange tip today.

Is the weather staying nice over there?
PS. BTW I put the videos up on you tube for private viewing. Would that be the problem . They work perfectly on my PC but not on a friends.

I have seen a few orange tip butterflies today, but was without the camera, we've just had torrential rain, but it seems to be short lived, looks like another lovely day tomorrow.

Default Using the big lens

Here's a picture of me using the 50-500 with the 1.4x teleconverter, just before taking the photos of the whitethroat.

Default Crop spraying

Had to move the tripod to allow this chap past, I'm not too sure whether the birds in the crop will be too happy.
