Default Kelsey Park Beckenham Kent

Today I visited Kelsey Park Which is in Beckenham Kent.
There is a long brook which opens out into a very large lake which houses a pair of mute swans with six Cygnets. I couldn’t get them all in one capture they wouldn’t stay together so I managed the parents with three and are almost full grown. There are all sorts of water fowl (but no Wigeons) there is a Heronry and a Cormorant colony.
The Cormorants were not at home today. There are Greylag geese, Canada geese, Coots, Moorhens and Pochard ducks. Which I couldn't find today and a pair of Tufted ducks, last but not least hundreds of black-headed gulls and a beautiful waterfall
There are also a few non-indigenous birds as well. The Mandarin Duck
Oh and not forgetting the Grey squirrel watching the Moorhen.
A place to visit if you are in the area

Not as big as Horseshoe Lake but I think it make up the size with it's length if you catch my drift.

Here is an update of Kelsey Park Having visited again this summer I found a Heron with teaching it's youngster ho to fish and circling the area of the lake to warn of threats to her youngster. I also found a Muscovy duck , a Cormorant perched on a post.
this really is a nice place to visit
