Welcome to the forum.

This forum has been set up to fill what I have found to be a gap in local bird discussion for the general Thames Valley area. There are several excellent National and International bird forums, plus more local information and scientific sites, but I thought it would be useful to open a forum for like minded people, specialising in our home area.

Please note that this is not a forum solely for experts, no prior knowledge of birds is required to join or post here, simply an appreciation of wild/garden birds.

Any suggestions as to new sections and improving the forum are welcome, I am looking forward to members posting pictures of their local birds, gardens and feeding arrangements. I will add new local area sections, as and when members join from those areas.

Members can upload photos up to 400KBs. If you are at a loss as to how you can easily resize your pictures, then download Pix Resizer, a free program which can resize a whole folder at one time to a selected size, very easily.

I hope you will enjoy the forum, and look forward to any new members posting an introduction here.
