No It was sitting next to the Swallow and I snapped it three time just because I can lighten it . A Greenfinch doesn't have a black beak even A juveniles. That is what made me think it can't be a Greenfinch but I don't know . The beak I think is too thick for a warbler
Here is a lighter one |

I figured you would have lightened it as I was uploading it
![]() II also thought after it could be a trick of the light on the beak. Must be a female Greenfinch with a beak like that and the Yellowish could be the fact that the sun was extremely bright. I'll settle for a Greenfinch female ![]() |

Wouldn't mind a copy of this Beryl. My address is in your message box but don't worry if you don't want to let me have one its not a problem.
The bird has me beat other than it is not a 'finch' though the light may be playing tricks with us regarding the bill. Beryl I am editing this post now to suggest this is another Dunnock but 'suggesting' is the key word here. Pete. |

I adjusted my 'brightness' to maximum and now clearly see what you mean about the yellow underside. However the bill is certainly not the bill of any of the 'finches' which are conical and strong for braking open the seeds they feed on.
This bird remains a 'mystery' to me and I now have a copy of the photograph and somehow will get a conclusion on this frustating ID from somewhere/somebody. Pete. |
