Equipment: Nothing but my notebook which is one of the most important parts of birding. To go out without it (which I only ever did once) is like going out without your pants on. I've never understood why I responded to the 'Cameras and Equipment' question in this way because in reality I own a Leica Telescope with eyepieces, Zeiss Binoculars, and a Manfrotto Tripod all of which cost a positive fortune.

Seen one of these today Beryl, probably my best butterfly of a very bad year so far. Our weather up here has shown little - if any - improvement. I reckon July 2008 is set to enter the history books as the worst since records began.

You have entered some excellent images today Beryl which I have enjoyed looking at.

Pete.
