    Default Beautiful Demoiselle - Calopteryx virgo

    Her are two male Beautiful Demoiselles. both are different. I saw them fighting but they exasperated before I could capture the fight I noticed they had slightly different coloured wings and the bodies were also slightly different in length and shape

    May be a male and female

    most of my efforts are digi-scoped, using an opticron hr66 scope, pentax optio v15 digital camera and homemade adaptor.+ a panasonic lumix fz28

    fantastic colours aren't they beryl, almost metalic looking

    i saw one at leighton moss on sunday but did'nt get a pic. they really aare pretty.
