Here is the Exe Estuary bed when the tide is out. today after a 3 mile trek around the nature walks and the length of the sea front I decided to go round by the docks for some Oystercatcher. Having captured them I then decided to get my feet wet and trek across the estuary bed . I was like crossing the desert miles and miles of sand all round and 4 inches deep in water. Up to the ankles crossing the streams. But. Great fun.
Also met a Little Egret about 12 metres from me ,didn't bat an eyelid |
