Equipment: Nothing but my notebook which is one of the most important parts of birding. To go out without it (which I only ever did once) is like going out without your pants on. I've never understood why I responded to the 'Cameras and Equipment' question in this way because in reality I own a Leica Telescope with eyepieces, Zeiss Binoculars, and a Manfrotto Tripod all of which cost a positive fortune.

Another 'oldie' this time I could lie and say it was taken on the Riviera and definitely get away with it. In fact its a quite nice little place SW of Lancaster called Glasson Dock.

Pete.

Equipment: The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

Ahhhh, Fleetwood.

Good at Rossall Point for sea watching. Trouble with sea watching is that at its best it has to be blowing a gale, so a bit of a specialist kind of birding, not my particular 'cup of tea' but when I do brave it at certain times of the season it can be very exciting and rewarding.

Pete.
