I might dip in and out of it this year, but to be quite honest, I found it a little boring last year.

Have to agree. I'd rather watch Chris Packem on Nature's Calender.

Less the comedy. I think Spring Watch is probably aimed at children.
having said that I will be watching it for info more than anything

I like it too but I wish Bill wouldn't keep interrupting Kate and there was less of the comic stuff
Bill Oddie is very clever and versatile, he is also a very nice person.
His 'How to watch wildlife' is really good. Well worth watching

Got it in one there Beryl. He's extremely rude with Kate and his consistent interrupting her when it is clearly her turn to say something according to the script which he seems to enjoy ignoring......nothing to his credit on that score. Also he's far too 'silly' at times though he usually sounds as though he knows what he's talking about.

Oh . He does know what he's talking about and he writes the scripts and his wife presents the programs I believe. He also lives in y home town Hampstead Near Hampstead Heath But he is to much of a comic on a serious show.He wrote all the Goodies shows too
Also in real life he has dreadful mood swings and suffers from Clinical depression
I head to elderly ladies on the bus talking about Spring Watch and how he interrupts all the time

Yes Simon Kings Big cat programs are superb

To go out without it (which I only ever did once) is like going out without your pants on. I've never understood why I responded to the 'Cameras and Equipment' question in this way because in reality I own a Leica Telescope with eyepieces, Zeiss Binoculars, and a Manfrotto Tripod all of which cost a positive fortune.
