Spotted this 1484 astronomical clock in the Exeter Cathedral that predates Copernicus
Thought it was rather interesting

Here is how it works

The 1484 clock pre-dates Copernicus' discovery that the earth was not the centre of the universe. The sun, shown by the fleur-de-lis, and the moon, the silver/black orb, revolve around the earth, the gold orb at the centre. The circle of Roman numerals shows the hours of the day and the inner circle the 29,5 days of the lunar month. The orb representing the moon changes from silver to black to show the phases of the moon.
