Well it's a Redpoll, I think it's a Lesser Redpoll Carduelis cabaret.

After doing some digging I must say that it (of course is a redpoll) and that the name You suggested is almost right. There is a longer name but it might just be some extra - not beeing a pro in this art I will let You decide if Your answer is correct or almost correct

and a new, better picture as well.

In my book this is a " Brunsiska Carduelis flammea cabaret "

It looks like a Woodpecker, but not the Greater Spotted as it has too much black on the side of the head. I'll take a guess at the Thee-toed Woodpecker - Picoides tridactilus.

Right I thought the tail was a bit short. I first thought of Guillemot not enough white and then thought Cormorant but not enough white on the face and short tails but forgot about Shags
