OK, only other bird I can think of with the white tail and dark tip is the Rough-legged Buzzard - Buteo lagopus.

Yes, it is a Fjällvråk Rough-legged Buzzard Buteo lagopus


It is a bird usually seen up in the mountains in the Norther parts of Sweden.

Looks like one, but the colour seems to go much farther down the neck than anything I've seen... not to say that it's not a variant, just not seen a picture of it. Mind you, I can't think of anything else - I do wish birds would all look exactly the same, it makes ID a real beggar to do

Actually we are supposed to put the Latin name as well Billy.

If you haven't it in a book type the name into the Google and you will get the Latin name beside it in brackets
