An Introduction from Tilehurst

Hi, I'm Rolf, based on the edge of Tilehurst, at the tip of Sulham woods.

Became interested in garden birds after I began putting out food in the winter, I was surprised at the number and diversity of the visitors and started taking photographs as an aid to recognition and have turned it into a a bit of a hobby since.

Started off with a simple point and shoot Kodak digital camera, upgraded to a Fuji Finepix S5000 and my latest upgrade has been to an Olympus E-500 digital SLR, with Sigma 50-500 Telephoto zoom lens.
