Default A Total Newby.

Hi Guys Nice to find this site. Have to say I'm a total newby to the hobby.
I am retired, an ex Textile Consultant. Live in the Lancashire area. Interests include DIY, Gardening, PC, and now Bird watching.
I hope I can learn much from my time here and very much looking forward to it. High Regards to one and all, BrianB.

Welcome Brian - we have some quite knowledgeable people here, some fantastic photographers... and then the rest of us I'm still learning, and learning a lot from others here - so again, welcome.

*** I just spotted that you use a Finepix. I used to use a Finepix S7000, and Rolf used to use a S5000 - and we were both quite happy with them. I still love my Finepix for Macroshots.

Hi Neil, Yes you are not too far away. I'm in Accrington ( of Stanley fame ),

I was actually married form an address in Helmshore. Got married in Haslingden and stayed with a friend in Helmshore overnight the day before.
The house as I remember it, ( Long long time ago ) was near where the Holiday Company had their business.
Cheers M8. Nice to know you're there. Brian.
