Default common eider- S. molissima
Captured st the living coasts Torquay
This Common Eider is valued for it's down to make bedding. The duck is not harmed in any way. Down is collected from the nest when the duck is away from it

Equipment: The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.
