Default Marumi Macro Ring Flash

A nice unit that may be of interest to Macro enthusiasts. They sell between £100 and £110 and are dedicated to either Canon or Nikon respectively. Various sized filter thread adapters are supplied other are readily available.

I dont have a Macro lens Beryl. I use a set of three Jessops extention tubes and the kit 18mm to 55mm lens. I couldnt justify spending £300+ on a Macro lens.( come to think of it, judging by some of my Macro shots, I couldnt justify spending 20 pence on a Macro lens)

I have a sigma 70-300mm DG macro £129.00. You can see a close up of a dragonfly will show how good it is. Taken from a foot away.
Mind you it's a matter of preference and the above looks pretty snazzy

It isn't a lens Beryl, it's a ring flash, it can be used on any lens, just that it is designed to give shadow free illumination of close up subjects.

Shame they don't do an Olympus version.
