Default Dawlish

Dawlish is in the Southwest just across thee estuary from where I reside in Exmouth Devon,
This is truly a lovely place to visit. plenty of wildlife and a great deal from other countries of the world. The Newzeeland Black Swan has bred there for over 50 years. Well worth a visit if one is down this way

Am off there today for a day out and pick-nick with friends.Hope to bring back some interesting photos for the holiday snaps thread.

Here are just few of some water fowl you will see. The black swans were introduced some 40 years ago by a Dawlish man who Immigrated to New Zealand and brought them back on a holiday trip. The swans have been breading freely since and the Chinese goose and others who have stopped off and stayed and the Muscovy duck .Not so pretty
