This is actually a circumzenithal arc.(A very small one) but it arises from refraction of sunlight through horizontally-oriented ice crystals, generally in cirrus clouds, rather than from raindrops.
Ah very pretty indeed :) Ive seen ice crystal refraction two or three times over the years - and never had a camera handy.
I'd not seen it before, but caught one last week when off shooting sledgers.

I think this is a Sun Dog but I could be wrong as it has nice colours.
Circumzenithal arc are usually in Bright sunny sky up in the cirrus clouds and have very vivid colours due to being made of ice crystals and the colours don't overlap
