Industrial dereliction
If you like little locos on preserved lines you will find this very sad. This old mine engine was buried in the undergrowth at Clearwell Caves museum in Gloucestershire in summer 2006.
Carol says the overriding memory of that day was hearing me swearing continuously as I wandered down the sidings. I had my shorts on and the nettles were vicious and tryed to stop my quest to find out exactly what was parked down there!

That's a greta shame Ross, but I guess that it takes a lot ow work and money to keep these engines up to scratch.

Two more - this time from Prestonpans Industrial museum. The wooden wagon is never going to carry coal again - the bottom has rotted out totally, whilst the crane has definitely seen better days....
