Hello all,
Thought I'd share this find as my first post on this forum and site.
Acting on a tip off from a collegue, I spent my lunch hour on the Surrey/Hants border watching this very wary Hoopoe, even with a 600mm lens, these images are a crop hence the poor quality, chuffed with the spot though :)
Well done Mike and an excellent first post. :) I'm envious.
I'll copy this to the Photo section if you don't mind, as that's where people will look for images. :)
Shame I'm busy over the next couple of days, I'd have loved to go and have a look. :)

shall i suggest a ROAD TRIP... i do think it would be worth it, whos brining the tea then...
brilliant pictures, personally it doesnt look like a uk bird i guess cause its so rare and one you have to work hard to see...
