Spotted these beauties on the way to Paice's Wood, love these old trucks, really had character.:)
Not sure of the manufacturers of all of these, although obviously one is a Bedford and the car is of course a Ford Corsair 2000E.

They look so sad and unloved...:(
Despite the rust and the condition, I suspect they will still be worth something - if anyone can find the cash to restore them.
How old do you think they might be?
The first couple are forties/fifties I believe Catherine, probably Seddon trucks.
Great photo opportunity, shame that V4 Corsair has been left to rot, they are quite rare these days.
:D
Lovely shots, Rolf. It reminds me how much I like the aesthetics of older vehicles... much nicer than modern ones. But I agree with Catherine, they do look rather forlorn and unloved.
Yes . Great shots Rolf. :)
Errrr Wouldn't you rather have nice flowers in you garden ?
Watch out that an anomoly doesn't open up and beasts from the past don't suddenly walk through
Nice shots though...:)
According to the DVLA licence plate enquiry site the Corsair has been off the road since March 1995 :(
Wow, Ross - now THAT'S efficient :)
Dead easy Louise :D

Ive found that a 1965 Ford Cortina my dad owned about 35 years ago is still on the road!
Goodness, that's not much younger than me and I'm already junk ;)
Handy web link
I just came across this rather appropriate poem:
My car is limping, Dolores Haze,
And the last long lap is the hardest,
And I shall be dumped where the weed decays,
And the rest is rust and stardust.
~ Vladimir Nabokov
Crumbs, always wondered what he wrote like, ever since "Don't stand so close to me". :)
