Here are some feeding on seeds of plants growing in the same type of shingle, just along the coast on the slope Hurst Spit at Milford on Sea!:)
Thanks Guys! i think u Right. I had a Small Flat in Barton, Cathrine, just along the Coast frm Milford back in the 1980s ( I was Chasing a Different Kind of tail in Thoes Days! ) ;)
Yes, definitely a linnet. I have similar shots taken on sandy cliffs at Guernsey.

Wonderful variety of birds between Barton and Milford - and beyond! From Sand Martins to Whitethroats and Cormorants to Ravens. It's a great area for birds of the feathered variety still!;)
