They dive and come up some where else a bit like Cormorants don't they but not so far away.
Yes, so it takes you a while to find where they are and then by the time you've focussed, they are off again. :-lmao
Here's one of it coming towards me and another couple more common shots, of it disappearing beneath the water. :)
Here's another of the dad on a food gathering trip and one of the youngsters in the nest. :)
Those are lovely captures Well done :)
Only the middle one is a solid pic the outer two are red crosses but come up when magnified.
My computer or a glitch?
The outer two are quite big, I'll reduce them in size. :)
Ok . They are all so cute. Yu had a good day. Obviouly you didn't get any work done.
An waiting for the video
The video isn't great, but it shows how long they stay under water. :)
Well now that is handy . It will give evry one an idea of how long they will have to wait if they are going to watch grebes :-rofl
.
Nice set of piccies. Aren't they lovely-looking birds.. although also very wet looking. What was that saying about "water off a ducks back"? :) I suppose they're not ducks, but Grebes :)
