Mouse in the House
This little chappie was being hunted by my cat in the living room when I got up this morning. He is not dead (yet!), just taking a breather.
When I let him go outside he didn't seem too worried and at first I thought that he was going to climb up my arm but he decided against it. Of course, he could just have been rather battered and punch drunk.
I don't know how 'fear-sensitive' they are and whether, if he isn't badly hurt he will die of shock. Does anyone know how sensitive they are?
It was very difficult to photograph - I am right handed, the button on the camera is on the right and of course I couldn't hold the camera and press the button... and this had to be quick so as not to stress the mouse any more. I was amazed that I got it in focus since I could hardly see the screen on the camera.

Don't know how susceptible to shock they are Louise, but a very slight puncture wound from a cat will cause ainfection in an animal that small. I guess only time will tell.

I don't know if the cat managed to catch it.
