Very detailed photos Chocky, the first in particular.
Must have a little read up about the differences, would like to get into insect photography.
Oh good. I have hundreds of bugs.
I'm not too sure about those I have uploaded but I do know Crickest have longer antwnae its the only way I should be able to tell the difference but once we have a posative on them they could go in the WellenKamp forum.
I think the first one is a Bush Cricket
Yes that would be great Chocky. :)
Saw my first large Dragonfly of the season today, just off the ring road in central Reading, but unfortunately didn't have my cameras with me.:-doh
Strange place to see one though. :conf40:
I have only seen two Dragonflies this year
I think they are becoming confused like the bees. I have heard it is to do with mobile phones. My speakers pick mine up if some one rings me and if some one is using blue tooth near by I pick that up. I wonder if the bees and other insects do .
I think the one I saw was possibly a female Black Tailed Skimmer, but my memory isn't that great, precisely why i carry my camera.. :)
But this time you didn't. Lol
I have uploaded a couple of dragonflies Emperors and darters
Great stuff. :)
Ok have edited the first entry with the full titles. Now they can go in the Wellenkamp forum
