Mistle Thrush
The mistletoe eating bird. The were several
One making a lot of noise in the tree Sounding like a wooden rattle used at football matches. Probably alerting the others another sitting on the railing rattling back(Could be the males)
The others collection juicy worm and nesting materials the were about 4 or 5 all told. here are a few

Yes.It was.
I was quite amazed to see so many in one go as was some one I was talking to was as well. They seamed to be every where one was down on the embankment of the brook and we saw it chase off a female blackbird quite aggressively.too
They must have all just arrived

Got three shots of the one with the worm but I thought only one was needed as it was the same bird that time. I tried to get more than one in the frame but they wouldn't get close enough.
The fifth one was jumping . Maybe it was jumping on a worm . Who knows
