This little feller flew inches from my head and landed on a tree near by I reallised straight away I had to stop gauping and start snapping.
Only just captured him he was so quick, 4 snaps and gone.
Not to well focused unfortunately but visable.

No. Remember I tripped over a log and fell down a shallow trench in Petts Wood last year chasing a red coloured bird well :-rofl
I got him then and that was the same so this is the second .

Ha ha ha . I was staying at my son's house for a Holiday in Bromley.
I can get a train straight to Victoria and right out side the station a bus to Hampstead heath. The woodpecker was in Petts Wood behind Mark's house. :bang:
