Jays in the copse

Had three Jays in the copse opposite this morning, managed to get a few pictures with the big lens. :)

Great photos Rolf, have only ever managed to catch glimpses of the Jays near me. :)

That's an interesting facility Rolf, did you record the clip on an MP3 recorder?

Hi Robert, used my new Remembird recorder and then took out most of the rumble caused by the wind using Audacity. The Remembird outputs in MP3 format, so no conversion required. :)

I'm looking at converting a Sky minidish for use as a parabolic microphone director, this should give a larger degree of direction to the mic and enhance sound volume over distance. :)

I have never seen a jay. They ar qhite pretty
