Guess the bird

Well it looks like a Bunting of some sort, but not one of the more common ones, as the beak isn't chunky enough, how about a rare visitor, the Song Sparrow - Melospiza melodia?

First thing I thoought of was bunting butI could only think of
Corn Bunting (Miliaria calandra)

Well, I suppose that I'll have to jump into the fray and work it out myself (Louise quickly grabs her guide books and starts leafing through with furrowed brow and a lot of headscratching :) )

How about a spring version of a Skylark, Alauda arvensis?
