A really nice place for a stroll and not too big, a walk around the lake doesn't take too long, but offeres quite a lot to see.
Flanked by woodland, on two sides, it attracts a great variety of wildlife, including many songbirds and a range of waterfowl.

Here are some photos from my visit for an hour or so this Saturday. You can see both Mandarin and Wood Ducks, plus an array of pretty wildflowers, the names of which I will add once I've looked them up. :)

Is it far from Yateley. I could get Matt to drop me off there and pick me up later I can spend hours in one place if there is wild life. It would also make a change :)

I wouldn't spend the whole day there. I would probably be there for a couple of hours whilst Matt pops into work ,may make a change. I'll see though when I next visit, depends on his availability to entertain his mum :D. Looks nice though. Mind you my next visit will be in the summer so the lake could be teaming with wildlife.
