LOL, yes, they certainly seem to love them in my garden, particularly the starlings. :)
Have found 13 Cockchafer grubs in compost in a plant pot - offered them to Blackbird, but he seemed to be scared of them and flew away! Big Jessie!

A Cockchafer flew into my kitchen the other night . It was amazing to watch it open it's wing cases and the wings come out . It looked like a helicopter.
I switched the light out and heard it plop into a bag full of plastic bags. I located it and put a glass over it, a bag under it and it clung onto the bag for dear life . I managed to free it whilst hanging out of the window after a few minutes
LOL, yes, don't really want one flying around in the house, hard to ignore.:)
