Found this sadly dilapidated phone box in Morebattle whilst out and about last weekend. It must have been hit by a car during the severe weather up here :014:
At a guess someone had come up the hill behind the camera, lost it on the brow of the hill and skittered into the phone box - fairly hard from the amount of damage!
Amazingly despite the fact its been knocked clean off its base the phone still worked. :-rolling They dont make them like they used to!

I do hope it can be fixed. I love to see those old red telephone kiosks. Folks round the corner from us have several in their garden - though I doubt if any are in working order! They have lots of bright red pillar boxes too!:conf40:
I love when I'm driving through a pretty conservation area, and I see a red telephone kiosk - or pillar box - at the side of the road.
They don't make them as sturdy as that nowadays!
It was wedged up against the wall and a grit bin which had stopped it falling over completely
That's a cracker Ross, are you sure it wasn't accidentally destroyed by yourself on the way back from the pub the night before? ;) :D
oh how cool, we decided our place to rent on the bases of a phone box in the garden... past uses green house and beer storage place!! lol
