Large Fungus

It was about eight inches across, any ideas anyone? :)

Only that i don't think it will go with steak and chips
Might be Clouded funnel cap. Can't be sure but it looks a bit like it

My guess would be Clitocybe Gibba / Common Funnel Cap. Hard to tell from one picture and my mycology is only in its infancy.

Oh. I wasn't too far out then :).
I'm hopeless at fungi too. I did capture a lovely red one at Yateley Park but most of it had been eaten and looked a bit unsavoury. Lol. So I gave it a miss. Might do some work on it and see if I can patch it up

I bought a book yesterday on Mushrooms and Toadstool but it's no good. They all look the same
