Nice - it's almost like a hummingbird :)
Can't recall seeing one hover before.
I see it hover several times but have never been quick enough to capture it . They only hover for about one minute.

We saw one flying out over the saltmarshes at Keyhaven last year. It then hovered over one spot. After dipping down quickly to grab whatever it saw, it flew back inland again.
A few minutes later it returned to hover over the exact same spot. I guess it knew there was a lot of potential dinner there!:-cwink
