I think this is a Little Owl, begging for food at around 5 in the morning, unfortunately it was too dark to see the bird and it sounded like it was above me on the roof. The call is similar to that of the Tawny Owl, but I'm pretty sure it's the Little Owl.

Wow, it's funny but the morning we were off to Scotland we saw an Owl on a neighbours roof it was schreeching away but it was lovely to see:)

You will have to install infrared CCTV on your roof with a video tape
That would possibly be a step too far Chocky, already have a camera on the front and back. :)
Yes. But it would be great to capture it in it's nightly maneuver and singing? Or what ever noise it is called :woot_jump:
