Rain and floods
I really feel for those people caught up in the rain and the floods .
It must feel like the end of the world for some
We had torrential rain from November through to January and the pic below shows just a little part of what can happen and believe it or not it turned my world up side down for the best part 6 months. I still have daunting periods when I think about it Apart from that which you see on the floor all fell on top of me causing whiplash and it is so minimal compared to what is happening now. I do hope it will end soon. But a lot more of the sealing came down after and the carpet had to be replaced

Yes it is hugely disrupting Chocky, fortunately I have always lived in fairly high places, certainly not ones prone to flooding.
It looks like a few places which were destined for flooding this morning, may have avoided it. :)

And the rest fell down shortly after. I was well out of the way this time.
But the whole area had to be removed to be replaced.
I hope all the flooding comes to an end soon.

Yes. I didn't like to complain when peeps are worse off but it was daunting and this last lot brings it flooding (bad term) back . the carpet was ruined ant the curtains. I guess I was lucky compared to others over £1,500 in damages inside and out. It just wouldn't stop raining and the bay roof filled up faster that the water could run away and the hi winds ripped out the flashing and actually I still haven't sorted every thing out. The lounge had to be cleared for prepares and refits and so all was packed and I haven't the incentive to unpack all of it. So I really feel for the peeps caught up in this lot
