Songthrush Early Morning

Have separated this from the other holiday thread, as the audio files don't seem to mix well in the same thread. :)

Thought it was worthy of posting for the song alone, the picture is a little hazey, due to the slight mist in the air and the distance involved, he was perched on the ridge of the big barn opposite. :)

Lovely songs they sing. We have one in the lkittle wood and he sings his heart out. He wasn't there today.

Ah, now i know what the bird is that sings in my garden first thing, have never managed to catch a glimpse, but it is always there singing.:)

We have one who sits on next doors chimney on late summer afternoons.

I have a favorite spot where ther are a pair of song thrushesand occasionally ther is a mistle thrush.
They like to bath in the little Jacuzzi in the brook.
