Was sat on the PC and watching the news with the window open and heard the unmistakable sound of Waxwings, looked out of the window and there they were in the neighbours' Oak tree.:)
They are now periodically flying between the Oak, some berries and a distant aerial.
Wow, not bad. But funnily, although I normally think they look good, in a group on the Aerial, their little quiffs make them look very funny :)

Then ten minutes after I'd taken that photo in the tree, a Red Kite landed in it, unfortunately it must've seen my lens poking out of the window and took off before I could take a photo.
Oh no, what a lost opportunity !
He was there the other day as well, so perhaps it's a regular stop off point.
Time to tie a dead chicken to it? I'm not sure the neighbour would be too happy though :)
Well I can pretend that it just flew there, died and plucked itself.:)
