Well at least Swansea Council tried.

This is off the BBC News web site, but is so good I have to share it!

All official road signs in Wales are bilingual, so the local authority e-mailed its in-house translation service for the Welsh version of: "No entry for heavy goods vehicles. Residential site only".

All well and good. Sadly no-one checked the translation - which actually reads
"I am not in the office at the moment. Please send any work to be translated."

Very good both of them, that's how I feel using google to translate the Portuguese bits and back on sats forum. You just never know what google is converting your answer into..

I should imagine somebody had to suffer the indignity of no sugar in their tea, I understand that is the normal council reprimand to staff for minor discretions :bananarock:
